Construction Estimator- AECOM Hunt
AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Estimator to be based in Indianapolis, IN. This position is expected to begin Summer 2026.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Introduced to the company estimating systems and processes.
- Introduced to estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for preparing estimates.
- Exposed to various processes, project actions and assumptions that may impact estimates.
- Gathers, calculates and compiles data for use in developing all types of estimates.
- Performs the routine aspects of estimating assignments.
- Assists senior specialists in performing various estimating functions as required.
- Exposed to drawings, specifications, work breakdown structures, charts of accounts, published and internal data used in preparing estimates.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with estimating software (onscreen take off, ediphi)
- Experience working for a large general contractor.
- Previous AECOM internship experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook). As well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs
- This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.
- This position may offer relocation assistance.
