Construction Laborer
As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for the production process involved in creating underground Concrete Duct Bank boxes. Your role may vary, depending on your assignment, and may include setting up rebar, creating forms, cleaning and oiling forms, pouring concrete, and assisting with facility clean-up.
Responsibilities
- Set up rebar and tie it in preparation for the next station.
- Assist in creating forms by cutting and measuring materials.
- Clean and oil forms before and after each assembly.
- Pour concrete and assist in positioning the concrete trough for pours.
- Handle vibrating tools to settle concrete flush in the forms.
- Finish concrete once the box is complete and begins to cure.
- Perform cleanup tasks throughout the facility, including broom work, picking up trash, and moving materials to different staging lanes.
Essential Skills
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
- Capability to lift 50lbs or more to head level.
- Ability to carry materials such as tools, boxes, and wood boards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with concrete, whether residential or commercial.
- OSHA 10 certification or any other relevant certifications is a plus.

Work Environment
Work indoors and outdoors on an open construction site, dealing with varying weather conditions including mud and wetness, cold during the winter, and heat during the summer.

This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
