Concrete Laborer
As a construction laborer, you will play a crucial role in the production of underground concrete duct bank boxes. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks based on your assignment, contributing to different stages of the production process.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and tie rebar, preparing it for the next station.
- Assist in creating forms, which includes cutting and measuring materials.
- Clean and oil forms before and after each assembly.
- Assist in pouring concrete, positioning it correctly, and using vibrating tools to settle it flush in the forms. Finish the concrete once the box is complete and begins to cure.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility by sweeping, picking up trash, and moving materials to different staging lanes.
Essential
Skills:
- Experience in construction and general labor.
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
- Capability to lift 50 pounds or more to at or near head level.
- Proficiency in carrying materials such as tools, boxes, and wood boards.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Experience with concrete work, either residential or commercial.
- OSHA 10 certification or any related certifications are a plus.

Work Environment:
Work takes place both indoors and outdoors on an open construction site. Conditions can be muddy and wet, with cold temperatures in winter and hot conditions in summer.

This is a contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $34.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
