Construction Project Manager -in Indianapolis

Job Role s And Responsibilities

Develop overall project execution plans in collaboration with superintendents and project coordinators

Partner with the superintendent to ensure projects are constructed according to contract requirements, industry standards, and established schedules

Review and update weekly and monthly project status reports

Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays

Prepare and communicate requests for extensions of time and additional costs when required under contract terms

Maintain transparent communication with internal teams regarding project issues, risks, and problem areas

Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external project stakeholders

Communicate project expectations clearly and promptly to team members, customers, principals, installers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders

Coordinate project resources and activities to support timely and cost-effective project completion

Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining schedule, quality, and budget requirements

At least three years of commercial construction experience

Strong ability to read, understand, and execute contracts and purchase orders

Proficiency in reading and understanding construction documents including architectural, structural, mechanical drawings, and specifications

Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Experience managing multiple subcontractors and material suppliers preferred

Experience managing multiple concurrent construction projects preferred

Experience with metal panels, railings, and skylights is a plus

Demonstrated ability to manage installations on schedule and within budget
