Medical Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for patients, providers and internal staff, helping ensure a positive experience through excellent service and accurate support. The ideal candidate is professional, organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and timely manner
• Assist patients with appointment scheduling, registration and general service questions
• Verify patient information and update records accurately in the system
• Explain office procedures, insurance requirements and billing-related information as appropriate
• Route calls and messages to the appropriate departments or medical staff
• Resolve customer concerns efficiently while maintaining empathy and professionalism
• Support patient intake and administrative processes
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow all applicable privacy guidelines
• Document all interactions clearly and accurately
• Assist with additional front office or customer support duties as needed
