Physician - Cardiology Non-Invasive

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seekinga full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist who specializes in Non-Invasive Cardiology (with an interest in heart failure and/or advanced cardiology as a preference but not a prerequisite) to join us at Indiana Heart Physicians located in Indianapolis, IN. Interested candidate will join a large collegial group at a tertiary care center which has no overnight call responsibilities, great APP support, and clinical pod structuring which allows physicians to work in a collaborative work environment.

Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Physician will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

• Graduated up ramping of yearly time-off with 40 days of PTO starting year 3
• No overnight call
• Pod-based clinic structure with dedicated support team for all clinical workflows (e.g. inbox management, surgical clearances, Peer-to-Peer, refill management, medical records, etc.)
• EPIC-based system for both inpatient and outpatient documentation
• Average outpatient volume: 11 - 22 patients per day, depending on days clinic schedule.
• Weekend/Holiday Call: 1:5
• Short Call:
  On average one evening every 4-5 weeks, 5:00 p.m.

• Tailor-made approach for inpatient vs. outpatient responsibilities
• State-of-the-art labs:
  • Phillips systems which includes the Flex vision screens with the most updated software package including clarity software and availability of nine data out ports providing connection to TEE/CCTAs images on the Flex vision screens

  -the- art cardiac CT I(including CT-FFR), MRI (both stress and 4D flow imaging) and vascular imaging
