Duties:
* Provide instruction to elementary school students in various subjects, including math, science, language arts, and social studies
* Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and student engagement
* Utilize effective and innovative teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success and achievement
* Implement behavior management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment
* Requirments:
* Bachelor's Degree in education or related field
Preferences:
* Master's degree in education or related field
* 3+ years of teaching experience focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) instruction for elementary age students (beyond any state mandated student-teaching experience)
* A sensitivity and knowledge of the needs of a diverse community and the ability and commitment to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
