* Conduct ongoing assessments and observations to monitor children's developmental progress and identify areas of strength and areas needing additional support.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, therapists, and support staff, to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with special needs.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress, assessment data, and anecdotal observations to inform instructional planning and decision-making.
* Family and Community Engagement:
* Establish positive and collaborative relationships with families, serving as a trusted partner in supporting children's development and addressing their unique needs.
* Communicate regularly with parents/guardians through parent-teacher conferences, progress reports, and informal updates to share insights into children's progress, strengths, and areas for growth.
* Collaborate with community agencies, early intervention programs, and other external stakeholders to access resources and support services for children and families as needed.
* Classroom Management and Environment:
* Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active engagement, exploration, and creativity among students.
* Implement positive behavior management strategies and social-emotional learning activities to foster a sense of belonging, self-regulation, and mutual respect among children.
* Organize and maintain a well-equipped classroom environment with developmentally appropriate materials, resources, and learning centers to support children's active learning and exploration.
Qualifications:
