Spanish Language Immersion Teacher

Lawrence North High School will have an opening for a Full time (Maternity Leave) Spanish Language Immersion Teacher. Job qualifications are as follows:
Looking for a full-time member of our award-winning Spanish Immersion World Languages Department. Native Spanish speaker preferred, but Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Build authentic relationships with students that encourage them to become lifelong learners;
Work as a team player with other department members to create standards and communication-based lessons;
Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning;
Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior;
Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media consistent with our 1 : 1 resources;
Consistently evaluate student progress;
Work to establish and maintain open lines of communication with students and parents;
Perform all other reasonable assigned duties with respect and fidelity.
