School Psychologist
School psychologist providing assessment and intervention services in Indianapolis, Indiana on a 36-week contract. Supports students, teachers, and families to enhance educational outcomes. Works within a multidisciplinary team to address behavioral, academic, and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess student learning and behavioral needs through standardized testing and observations.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success.
- Conduct counseling and crisis interventions for students in distress.
- Provide consultation on school policies and classroom strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress.
- Deliver training and workshops on mental health and coping skills.
- Evaluate effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
- Advise on accommodations for students with special needs.
- Facilitate transition planning for students entering or leaving school.
- Support school-wide initiatives to promote a positive learning environment.
- Premium pay of up to $65/hour, 13% above market average, with weekly direct deposit and upcoming next-day pay features.
