Adult Support Instructional Assistant

The Metropolitan School District of Washington Township (MSDWT) has an opportunity for an Adult Support Instructional Assistant at Clearwater Elementary School. This part-time position is for the school year, with a salary of $19.50 per hour ($21,645 annually). Benefits include paid illness and personal business days, seven paid holidays, and district contributions to VEBA and 401A retirement accounts.

The Adult Support Instructional Assistant will work under the supervision of a certificated teacher to assist with classroom instruction, student supervision, lesson materials preparation, school procedures, workplace sanitation, disability types, learning difficulties, common children's diseases, teamwork principles, curriculum objectives, and first aid. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, carry and lift up to 25 pounds, work at a desk, see for reading, hear and understand speech, communicate clearly, operate office equipment, and reach in all directions.

The position is very frequent for most physical requirements.
