Latch Key Program Supervisor
Supervise the students attending the Latch Key program. Essential job functions include supervision of children in classroom activities and on the playground. Work with individual children or small groups to reinforce new skills initially introduced by the teacher. Assist students using computers. Coordinate after school snacks. Model positive behavior. Monitor children to ensure a safe and effective learning environment and transition to and from the Latch Key program.
Help to maintain a clean and organized learning environment. Willing to provide minor medical support as needed. Provide toiletry assistance, including diapering, as needed. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential job requirements include a high school diploma or GED. Must be willing to submit to continuing training as required by the State or school to maintain the position. Related job field work experience with demonstrated ability to work without constant supervision and an interest in educating children. Ability to sit, stand, walk, ascend/descend stairs, use hands to finger, handle or feel;
talk and hear. Exceptional written and oral communication skills; demonstrated background in related fields of work. Be compliant with all regulations regarding confidentiality of school business.
