College & Career Readiness (CCR) Teacher (K–8)
At Matchbook Learning, our vision is simple: every child is known, loved, and flourishing. We are a tuition-free public charter school proudly rooted in the Haughville neighborhood of Indianapolis, serving K–8 students at Wendell Phillips School 63. Our students come with high needs and extraordinary potential — and our staff shows up every day to meet both.
Half of our student population are Multilingual Learners. We serve students with a wide range of learning needs and we are proud to be in this community. You will be surrounded by a visible, supportive administration, a strong instructional coaching team, a dedicated MLL director, a large restorative team, and colleagues who put kids first.
We're looking for a creative, growth-minded educator to join our Related Arts team as our College & Career Readiness (CCR) Teacher for grades K–8. Through engaging, hands-on lessons, you'll help students explore future careers, build digital literacy skills, and practice the life-readiness habits that set them up for success in school and beyond.
This is a fully supported role: complete lesson plans and instructional structure are provided for you. Your job is to execute those lessons with excellence — and you'll be coached closely on strong delivery, not left to build curriculum from scratch.
Matchbook Learning invests deeply in its teachers. You will never build a lesson from scratch — our program provides fully developed lesson plans and instructional structure, and our coaching team supports you in delivering them with excellence. You will receive:
- Fully developed CCR lesson plans and pacing — your energy goes into strong execution, not lesson design
- Structured coaching and feedback on lesson delivery from instructional coaches and a highly visible administration
- Robust bilingual support throughout the school — bilingual staff, resources, and systems to fully serve our Spanish-speaking students and families
- Classroom management systems, PBIS support, and positive behavior reinforcement frameworks
- Morning circle coaching and support (K–8) launching 2026–2027
- PGP credits available for license renewal
- Full support for educators pursuing an Indiana Emergency Permit, if not yet fully licensed
