SEL Support Specialist - St. Mark School

Saint Mark Catholic School seeks a compassionate and skilled SEL Specialist to support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This individual will implement behavior intervention plans, teach self-regulation and social skills, track student progress, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to track student progress.
• Teach self-regulation, coping, communication, and social skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and the school social worker.
• Respond to behavioral crises using approved de-escalation techniques.
• Provide behavioral support and classroom management strategies to staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, ABA, Special Education, Social Work, or a related field required.
• 1-3 years of experience supporting student behavior in an educational setting.
• Experience with behavior intervention, IEP implementation, and data collection.
• Master's degree and CPI certification preferred.
• Must successfully complete Archdiocesan child safety training and background screening.
• Valid driver's license required.
