Middle School Math Teacher

Smart Start Education, LLC is seeking a Middle School Math Teacher to deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction to grades 6-8 in partnership with K-12 schools and districts. In this mission-driven role, you will design and teach rigorous math lessons, develop and use formative assessments, and provide targeted interventions and test-preparation support to improve student performance and meet accountability standards. You will collaborate closely with educators, leverage innovative instructional and assessment tools, and participate in ongoing professional development in a flexible, educator-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned middle school math lessons for diverse learners.
• Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
• Use data to differentiate instruction, provide targeted interventions, and support test preparation.
• Collaborate with school and district staff to align curriculum, assessments, and instructional practices.
• Integrate educational technology and Smart
• Start Education resources into daily instruction.
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and educators regarding progress and support plans.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom learning environment.
• Participate in professional development to enhance instructional practices and content knowledge.
• Contribute feedback to improve Smart
• Start Education's assessment and instructional solutions.
