Job Title
Quality Engineer
About your role:
Join our Output Solutions team within Fiserv as a continuous improvement and transformative leader, driving large‑scale quality and operational excellence across high‑volume print and document lifecycle operations. This role operates at a division level, leading cross‑functional change initiatives that improve process capability, reduce systemic risk, and deliver sustainable performance improvement across multiple sites, technologies, and value streams.
You will serve as a change leader, applying advanced statistical methods, Lean and Six Sigma principles, and structured problem‑solving to transform end‑to‑end processes-not just correct defects. Your impact will extend beyond individual projects, shaping quality strategy, standardizing best practices, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement that supports long‑term business transformation, regulatory compliance, and customer trust.
What you'll do:
* Lead transformation initiatives including implementation of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies at scale, designing and deploying quality plans, control plans, and process standards that enable world‑class manufacturing performance and consistent regulatory compliance across operations.
* Drive enterprise‑level quality and process transformation, leading complex root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using FMEA, 8D, VSM, and more advanced problem‑solving to eliminate systemic issues and transform end‑to‑end business processes-both within manufacturing and across supporting functions.
* Apply advanced statistical and analytical methods to enable continuous improvement, leveraging SPC, MSA, and statistical tools such as Minitab to reduce variation, improve process capability, and deliver sustainable, data‑driven performance improvement across value streams.
* Serve as a Lean and Six Sigma change leader and educator, coaching, mentoring, and teaching teams at all levels to apply continuous improvement principles, build problem‑solving capability, and embed a culture of operational excellence that supports a world‑class manufacturing environment.
* Partner cross‑functionally to embed quality beyond the factory floor, collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and business partners to implement improvements, support new product introductions, reduce waste and variability, and extend quality transformation into non‑manufacturing and enterprise processes.
* Lead quality governance and system maturity, planning and executing internal and supplier audits, managing nonconformances and supplier corrective actions, and ensuring quality systems, documentation, and controls support long‑term business transformation and risk reduction.
* Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.
Experience you'll need to have:
* 6+ years of experience in manufacturing quality engineering in electronics, medical device, automotive, pharmaceutical, or precision manufacturing environments using statistical methods and root cause analysis to improve process capability.
* Experience applying statistical methods and tools, including statistical process control (SPC) and measurement system analysis (MSA), and performing data analysis using Minitab or similar statistical software.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), develop and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and lead large scale continuous improvement events (Kaizen, GEMBA).
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent combination of…
