Lead Bridge Engineer

This is a Direct Hire, full time opportunity.

Salary Range:

$115 - 130K, depending on experience

Summary:
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing your own team of talented engineers, overseeing projects, and ensuring quality delivery for our clients. You'll report directly to the Transportation Director, and work in a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and professional growth.

Job Duties:

Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and develop a team of engineers and interns, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
Project Management Excellence: Oversee and manage structural projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Strategic Growth & Innovation: Expand our structural project portfolio, strengthen client relationships, and drive creative solutions in bridge engineering.
Collaboration & Oversight: Partner with internal teams and public agencies (INDOT, counties, municipalities) to shape the future of Indiana's infrastructure.

Requirements:

Bachelor's (or higher) in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural design
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana, and/or Ohio and Kentucky
At least 10 years of experience designing bridge and structural infrastructure projects
At least 5 years of leadership and project management experience, leading successful teams
Expertise in public sector design projects (INDOT, county, and municipal)
Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and quality
