Your Impact:

As the Avionics Crew Chief at Jet Access, you serve as a highly experienced technical leader responsible for overseeing the avionics team, leading advanced installations, and ensuring system integration excellence across business aviation aircraft platforms. You independently execute and supervise complex avionics projects, evaluate compatibility, mentor technicians, and ensure seamless integration of modern avionics systems into both legacy and modern aircraft while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Your Competitive Edge:

* Base Salary of $30.00-$50.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly plus $4.00 per hour for Crew Chief Incentive Pay

* Overtime pay for all hours over 40 hours per week
* $6.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift
* $2.00 per hour travel premium for AOG assignments

Where You Make Your Mark:

As the Avionics Crew Chief at Jet Access, you serve as a highly experienced technical leader responsible for overseeing avionics operations, leading advanced installations, and driving system integration excellence across business aviation platforms. You are expected to independently execute and supervise installations, evaluate compatibility, and ensure seamless integrations of modern avionics systems into both legacy and modern aircraft. Here's what your role encompasses:

Advanced Avionics Installation & System Integration

* Perform and lead complex avionics installations including panel upgrades, retrofits, STC modifications, and full system integrations

* Install and integrate Garmin, Collins, Avidyne, and other OEM systems while evaluating aircraft configuration to ensure system compatibility prior to installation

* Modify, fabricate, terminate, and route wiring harnesses to professional aviation standards

* Integrate avionics with autopilot, navigation, communication, engine indication, and flight control systems

* Install and configure Gogo ATG and satellite connectivity systems, ensuring proper antenna installation, system calibration, and performance validation

Advanced Troubleshooting & Technical Expertise

* Diagnose and resolve advanced avionics discrepancies to LRU and component level
