You'll gain exposure to Delta Faucet products, design tools, testing methods and cross‑functional development processes. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will contribute to concept creation, detailed design, product evaluations and reliability testing. As skills grow, you will take on increasing ownership of development activities throughout the product lifecycle.
This is a three co-op rotation. The first two rotations will be in Indianapolis, Indiana. The co-op participants may have the opportunity to spend a semester at one of our US manufacturing facilities. Final decision will be made based upon facility need and co-op student development goals.
Responsibilities

* Participate in brainstorming meetings and idea creation events to conceptualize products to meet customer and market needs.
* Complete training and use of engineering test equipment in support of product evaluations per internal and external product specifications, requirements, and plumbing codes.
* Participate as member of cross-functional product development teams.
* Analyze product reliability through coordination of environmental, performance, and accelerated life cycle testing.
* As student gains more knowledge and experience, assume responsibility for product development activities from concept creation to design verification, tooling phase, model validation testing, and product launch.
