As a Managing Technical Consultant, Compliance Engineer based in the Indianapolis, Indiana area, you'll play a strategic role in helping organizations navigate evolving environmental regulations, reduce risk, and elevate performance. * Serve as a trusted advisor to multinational clients on environmental compliance strategies
* Drive technical excellence and quality across projects involving air permitting, hazardous waste, and regulatory audits

What You'll Bring:
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, permitting, and auditing
* Professional Engineer (PE) registration
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule
* Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and building collaborative teams
* Excellent communication and presentation skills for client engagement
* Ability to travel up to 20% regionally and occasionally nationally
* Driver's License
Required:
This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area
* This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
Preferred:
* Certifications such as HAZWOPER, CHMM, or similar
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise and oversight on hazardous waste, hazardous materials, and compliance projects
* Manage project execution, including budgeting, QA/QC, and regulatory assessments
* Lead development of compliance plans, permits, and reports (air, EPCRA, SPCC, stormwater, NPDES, wastewater)
* Conduct environmental audits and implement corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance
* Collaborate with ERM subject matter experts to deliver integrated solutions
* Build strong client relationships and maintain scope, budget, and schedule expectations
* Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers in delivering high-quality outcomes
