CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Engineer I to join our Water Team in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you'll support the planning and design of critical water, wastewater, and stormwater systems-gaining hands-on experience while working alongside experienced engineers and project teams. This is a great opportunity to grow your technical foundation, explore diverse infrastructure projects, and make a meaningful contribution from the start of your career.
What You'll Do:
* Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for water/wastewater system rehabilitation projects
* Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates
* Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for water/wastewater system optimization
* Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessment, planning, and rehabilitation of water/wastewater systems
What You Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
* No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
* Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, Micro Station, etc.)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team
* Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred
* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus

Salary Range:
$73,000 - $77,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
