Job Description & How to Apply Below
In this role, you will support the development of equipment specifications, datasheets, and procurement packages, while helping ensure equipment is properly integrated into Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and overall facility layouts. You will coordinate closely with other engineering disciplines (process, mechanical, piping, electrical, automation, architectural, and structural) to ensure packaged equipment scope is fully integrated into the building design and supports constructability, operability, and maintenance requirements.
You'll gain exposure to equipment selection, vendor coordination, and technical submittal reviews, while learning how complex equipment systems interface with utilities, controls, and facility infrastructure. You will also assist in ensuring that fabrication, construction, installation, and operational testing activities conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and client requirements, helping deliver impactful projects at both local and global scales.
You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of assigned engineering tasks as you develop an understanding of project scope, budget, and client expectations. Surrounded by strong mentorship and collaborative teams, you'll build a solid foundation in process equipment engineering while contributing meaningfully to integrated facility design and delivery.
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or closely related field
* Desire to obtain registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
Ideally, you'll also have:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
· Ability to collaborate and work in multi-disciplinary teams
· Experience / working knowledge of Engineering Design Software tools such as Navisworks, AutoCAD / Solidworks, or Smart Plant
· Familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes through internship or co-op experience in life science or similar manufacturing discipline
