Revit / BIM Technician
An engineering consulting firm is seeking a Revit / BIM Technician to support complex building design projects, primarily focused on industrial and infrastructure-related facilities. This role partners closely with Civil, Electrical, and Environmental Engineers to develop detailed 3D models and construction drawings for a wide range of building systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Revit professional looking to expand their experience across MEP, architectural, and civil design while working on technically challenging, multidisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project engineers on design and BIM modeling activities
- Develop and maintain 3D models for building systems using Revit
- Support engineers and designers with detailed 3D design work
- Prepare construction drawings and plan sets for project deliverables
- Assist with quantity take-offs and project cost support
- Participate in building surveys and field verification, as needed
- Utilize AutoCAD alongside Revit in the design process
- Support additional design and drafting activities as required
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience using Revit
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred:
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Experience and proficiency in AutoCAD
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $39.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
