Senior Aviation Engineering Project Manager

A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Aviation Engineering Project Manager for their Indianapolis team! Responsibilities include business development, client relations management, proposal presentations, CRM tracking, meeting with clients, developing proposals, managing financial performance, implementing growth plans, developing strategic plans, managing quality aviation projects, conducting job hazard analysis, creating health/safety plans, mentoring junior staff, providing technical direction, mitigating project risk, managing scope, performing airfield civil engineering design tasks, managing the bidding process, preparing studies, construction documents, drawings, maps, reports, providing senior QC review, visiting work sites, monitoring project progress, communicating regularly with clients, defining scope of work, ensuring tasks, project schedules, and budgets are met, creating engineering reports, specifications, cost estimates, and preparing final bid packages, leading project decisions regarding technical aspects, cost, and schedule, identifying schedule/cost variances, and recommending corrective action.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Master's degree in civil engineering is preferred, 8+ years of significant airside design, PE License, experience in the successful application of FAA criteria/regulations, project management experience, business development/marketing experience (writing proposals, scopes of work, budgets), experience using project management software. Salary is commensurate with experience. Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
