Job Title
Duration: 0-9+ Months (Contract) Shift: 8 am to 5:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
Responsibilities- Review validation reports and/or first article submissions for new supplied components.
- Assist in coordinating across technical disciplines within the organization, suppliers, joint venture partners and/or OEM partners.
- Coordinate and facilitate the resolution of problems involving the approval of suppliers' components into manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated ability to implement Mechanical Design/ GD&T into complex parts.
- Demonstrated technical, front end engagement with electromechanical, machining, sheet metal and/or plastics suppliers
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Monitor policies, procedures, and standards relating to Supplier Quality Engineering (i.e. metrics, data entry, log parts)
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Engineering Technology discipline
- 3+ years of relevant experience, primarily focused on the design, manufacturing, and quality of component parts
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum)
