An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Test Stand Engineer who will define, install, and operate test rigs on gas turbine engine hardware and subsystems in accordance with local standards.

What you will be doing:

* Support the design and definition of new test rigs. Test rigs will vary in complexity and application across multiple test stands, and laboratories, and engine programs

* Responsible for setup and installation of test rigs.

* Responsible for creating data collection profiles

* Responsible for safe operation of test rigs and data collection

* Responsible for raw data interrogation and troubleshooting.

* Responsible for repair and maintenance of test stand and laboratory spaces, including preservation.

Basic Qualifications:

* Associate's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 3 + years experience OR

* Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 1+ year of experience OR

* Master's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology OR

* JD/PhD

* Must be a US citizen to be considered for this role

Preferred Requirements:

* Strong analytical skills with demonstrated mechanical and electronics troubleshooting experience

* Fundamental understanding of data acquisition and instrumentation functionality

* Demonstrate written and oral communication to a variety of audiences

* Strong documentation skills and procedural improvement & compliance

* Efficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word

* Experience with National Instruments Lab View

* Experience with hydraulic control equipment

* Experience with fundamental mechanical or material testing

* Experience with design of experiments and control of variables

* Experience with gas turbine engines, and gas turbine engine hardware

* Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) license would be preferred

* Flexibility to adjust job assignments depending on priority and program demands
