Test Stand Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Test Stand Engineer who will define, install, and operate test rigs on gas turbine engine hardware and subsystems in accordance with local standards.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Support the design and definition of new test rigs. Test rigs will vary in complexity and application across multiple test stands, and laboratories, and engine programs
- Responsible for setup and installation of test rigs.
- Responsible for creating data collection profiles
- Responsible for safe operation of test rigs and data collection
- Responsible for raw data interrogation and troubleshooting.
- Responsible for repair and maintenance of test stand and laboratory spaces, including preservation.
Who We're Looking For:
- Associate's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 3 + years experience OR
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 1+ year of experience OR
- Master's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology OR
- JD/PhD
- Must be a US citizen to be considered for this role
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated mechanical and electronics troubleshooting experience
- Fundamental understanding of data acquisition and instrumentation functionality
- Demonstrate written and oral communication to a variety of audiences
- Strong documentation skills and procedural improvement & compliance
- Efficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Experience with National Instruments Lab View
- Experience with hydraulic control equipment
- Experience with fundamental mechanical or material testing
- Experience with design of experiments and control of variables
- Experience with gas turbine engines, and gas turbine engine hardware
- Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) license would be preferred
- Flexibility to adjust job assignments depending on priority and program demands
