Associate Principal, Electrical
Introba is seeking an Associate Principal, Electrical, in our Indianapolis location. This individual will work in collaboration with a dynamic project team from initial project development through project completion. This opportunity will allow someone to demonstrate their excellent organizational, technical, communication and documentation skills along with regular engagement with internal stakeholders and external client interfacing.
Responsibilities:- Providing leadership in all aspects of electrical engineering including equipment selection and specifications, system design, layout, calculations and field visits.
- Client relationship development and maintenance, proposal preparation and fee determination, leadership of the project team, and quality control oversight.
- Design, engineer and/or manage projects which include electrical systems for new installations, system retrofits, system replacement, and system upgrades.
- Regularly interface with clients and attend meetings and presentations and should possess strong communication skills.
- Support Electrical Team, including mentorship and supervision of employees.
- Ability to work on diverse range of project types in our core markets which include Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, Science & Technology, Aviation, Utilities infrastructure and Data Centers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, or closely related field is required.
- Active Professional Engineering (PE) License Required.
- Minimum of 12 years' relevant professional experience within facility design and construction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates a self- started mindset, presents Professionally with Clients, and is willing to think creatively to solve complex engineering problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record of successfully supporting clients throughout the process.
- Strong understanding of facility construction and experience in supporting owners, architects, other engineers, contractors, and utility company representatives.
- Strong working knowledge of the NEC and other industry codes and standards.
