Controls Engineer

An essential responsibility of a controls engineer involves designing and implementing control systems. These systems help in the automation of industrial processes, enhancing their efficiency and reliability. Controls engineers set parameters that determine how these systems respond to different conditions.

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement electrical control systems, including PLC-based hardware, HMI programming, and machine vision solutions. This role offers the opportunity to lead medium-scale projects, innovate solutions, and advance technical skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities System Design & Software Development:
  • Design and develop PLC-based control systems, HMIs, and machine vision applications.
  • Create detailed wiring diagrams and system documentation.
  • Develop and customize PLC software and HMIs for user-friendly operation.
Project Management & Execution:
  • Lead medium-scale projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and budget compliance.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams for seamless execution.
  • Maintain project documentation, including drawings and progress reports.
Testing, Commissioning & Continuous Improvement:
  • Develop test plans and oversee system installation, startup, and troubleshooting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in automation and control systems.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience:

    3+ years in control system design, automation, or electrical engineering.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI design, and machine vision systems.
  • Soft Skills:

    Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management abilities.
