Your ImpactThis position involves the implementation of project work associated with multimedia (air, water, soil, and biota) investigations and remediation. The position requires work at project sites, around construction equipment, drilling rigs, and environmental contamination. The selected candidate needs to be a self-starter, open to learning, adaptable to change, have a strong work ethic, and thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
This position offers the opportunity to learn from and grow with an established team while addressing complex environmental challenges through the following responsibilities:
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Environmental Engineering or related field.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in environmental sampling, site investigation, or remediation.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexible to work outside normal business hours, at locations requiring overnight stays, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to apply analytical and scientific thinking to define and solve problems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, follow detailed instructions, and learn new skills.
- Ability to remain on feet for extended periods of time, either stationary or walking.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a HAZWOPER physical and be medically able to wear a tight-fitting respirator.
- Must successfully complete and pass WSP's Motor Vehicle screening.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
- Experience in site investigations required.
- Valid driver's license required.
