Site Civil Engineer

A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Site Civil Engineer for their Indianapolis team! Responsibilities include serving as a technical lead for site civil/land development projects, preparing/overseeing site design, leading development of construction documents, performing/reviewing hydrology and hydraulic analyses, coordinating with internal disciplines, subconsultants, and project managers, supporting entitlement/permitting efforts, mentoring/training junior staff, reviewing work prepared by junior engineers, participating in client meetings, and applying/interpreting applicable local, state, and federal codes and design standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field, 5+ years of experience in site civil/land development design, PE License, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, demonstrated experience leading technical design tasks and coordinating project teams, strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater design, and permitting, familiarity with local jurisdictional standards and permitting processes, and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
