Structural Engineer
AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer in Indianapolis, IN.
Job Details:
- Complete construction engineering and bridge design
- Analyze and design steel and concrete bridges using in-house developed guidelines
- Resolve engineering queries related to technical issues and the buildability of structures
- Report and record all resolved correspondence for a single source of accurate up to date project information
- Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables
- Perform quality control reviews and design reviews of calculations and drawings
- Perform design calculations on calculation spreadsheets
- Prepare technical specifications and provide input for the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements
- Mentor junior staff on company construction methodologies and company construction quality control systems
- Up to 5% domestic travel required
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field of study and 4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, Bridge Engineer, Civil Engineer, or in a related occupation.
Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field of study and 2 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, Bridge Engineer, Civil Engineer, or in a related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
2000, ETABS, and RISA
