Specialist Engineer

Rolls Royce Motor Cars is seeking a Performance Specialist Engineer to optimize vehicle and manufacturing performance for our ultra luxury automobiles. You will analyze test data, refine powertrain and chassis performance, and improve manufacturing processes to ensure outstanding ride quality, reliability, and efficiency. Partnering with design, production, and quality teams, you'll define performance targets, validate prototypes, and resolve complex issues. You'll champion craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement while leveraging BMW Group tools and methods in a highly collaborative, detail driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze vehicle and manufacturing performance data to improve ride, efficiency, and reliability
• Define and track performance targets for powertrain, chassis, and related systems
• Plan and execute tests on rigs, prototypes, and production vehicles
• Use CAE, data analysis, and measurement tools to diagnose and resolve issues
• Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams on performance improvements
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for performance deviations
• Contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing and test processes
• Document test plans, reports, and performance standards
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and internal quality requirements
• Provide technical input to future model and process development
