Controller
Salary: $105,000 – $125,000
Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 days WFH)
- Partner closely with executive leadership and a fractional CFO, giving you visibility and influence beyond traditional accounting
- Lead consolidated financial reporting across six related entities, elevating your technical and leadership profile
- Enjoy a predictable hybrid schedule with flexibility and balance built in
- Use modern nonprofit systems including Sage Intacct and Salesforce
- Take ownership of compliance, reporting, and controls in an organization that values audit‑ready financials
- Stable organization with a strong mission focus and long‑term outlook
- Lead the monthly consolidated close, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations across six entities
- Produce monthly balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reporting with restricted/unrestricted analysis
- Coordinate Form 990 preparation and other nonprofit compliance filings
- Supervise a part‑time accounting specialist handling AP, AR, and daily transactions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Nonprofit accounting experience (GAAP, compliance, reporting)
