Position: IN-DOH-Accountant-Clean Up Team

We are seeking a detail-oriented accountant to join our Clean Up Team in the finance department. This role focuses on correcting and closing out old, open projects using People Soft and Euna software. If you are passionate about auditing and financial reconciliation, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Reconcile and audit past project activities for accuracy.
Create journal entries and process revenue transactions as needed.
Engage in comprehensive reviews of financial data.
Ensure projects are closed correctly and efficiently.
Collaborate with other finance teams to coordinate transactions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of accounting/auditing experience.
Thorough knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
Experience with People Soft (2+ years).
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Preferences:

State government accounting experience.
Experience with Euna financial & grants software.
Knowledge of governmental accounting and fiscal policies.
