Join our dynamic healthcare organization as a Home Health Administrator, where you will lead the operational and clinical functions of our home health services. This vital role ensures the delivery of exceptional patient care while managing staff, compliance, and business growth. Your expertise will help shape a supportive community for seniors and individuals requiring specialized care, including those with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home health agency, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage and supervise multidisciplinary teams including nurses, social workers, caregivers, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to residents’ specific needs such as memory care, Alzheimer’s care, and long-term care requirements.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless medication administration, treatment protocols, and documentation accuracy.
- Lead budgeting efforts, financial planning, and resource allocation to maintain operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Foster strong relationships with residents’ families and community partners to promote trust and satisfaction.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives by analyzing performance metrics and implementing best practices in senior care and home & community care services.
- Proven management experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes with a focus on senior or long-term care.
- Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care strategies, and resident-centered approaches.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of operations management including budgeting, staffing, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Background in nursing or social work preferred; active nursing license or relevant certification is advantageous.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or residents in retirement homes is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills combined with financial acumen to oversee daily operations effectively while maintaining compassionate resident care. - Experience in the development and execution of the IDOH, CMS, and CHAP credential process

- Doctorate (Preferred)
- Master's degree

- EHR systems (eClinical): 2 years (Preferred)
- Continuous Improvement and Integration: 1 year (Preferred)
