Position: Medical Payment Posting Specialist
Description

Join our team as a Medical Payment Posting Specialist and help ensure the accuracy and efficiency of healthcare revenue cycles for a leading organization. We're seeking detail-oriented professionals with a passion for medical administrative excellence.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

+ Accurately post payments, adjustments, and denials from various insurance carriers and patients into the billing system.

+ Reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly posted payments to ensure all funds are correctly allocated.

+ Resolve payment discrepancies by researching and communicating with payer sources and internal billing/coding teams.

+ Review explanation of benefits (EOBs) and electronic remittance advice (ERA) documents for accuracy.

+ Assist with accounts receivable and identify trends in denials or delayed payments.

+ Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company policies regarding patient information.

+ Support other revenue cycle functions as needed to ensure overall team success.

Requirements

+ Previous experience in medical payment posting or revenue cycle operations preferred

+ Knowledge of healthcare billing, insurance, and payment processing

+ Proficient with medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite

+ Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Detail-oriented professionals with strong analytical skills.

+

Experience with healthcare billing systems and EOB documentation.

+ A commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
