We are seeking an Associate Behavior Consultant to join our growing team. This unique developmental position is designed for motivated professionals who are ready to build their expertise in behavior assessment, treatment planning, and consultation while making a direct impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

As an Associate Behavior Consultant, you will receive structured training, mentorship, and real-world experience that prepares you for advancement to an Intermediate Behavior Consultant role. You'll work alongside experienced clinicians, learn evidence-based practices, and gradually assume responsibility for a caseload as your skills and competencies develop.

What You'll Do
Learn, Grow, and Develop Clinical Expertise
-Participate in comprehensive training on behavior consultation services, agency protocols, documentation standards, and Medicaid requirements.
-Shadow experienced Behavior Consultants to develop skills in assessment, consultation, and behavior support planning.
-Learn to administer and utilize behavior assessment tools, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other evidence-based practices.
-Develop competency in creating and implementing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).

Support Individuals and Families
-Empower individuals and families by recognizing strengths and promoting self-determination, inclusion, independence, and meaningful community participation.
-Assist with behavioral observations and data collection.
-Provide direct support services as needed to better understand individual needs and behavioral challenges.
-Collaborate with caregivers, direct support professionals, family members, and interdisciplinary team members.

Build Your Professional Skills
-Gradually manage a partial caseload as competencies are achieved.
-Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
--Participate in team meetings, case reviews, Human Rights Committee meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Assist in caregiver and staff training under clinical supervision.
-Develop strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and ethical decision-making.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
-Master's degree in:
Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or another applied health service area of psychology or counseling
-Minimum one (1) year of experience in a human services, behavioral health, or related setting.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
-Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior support strategies.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
-Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
-Commitment to person-centered services and ethical practices.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
-Desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve clinical skills.

-Evening and occasional weekend availability as needed
