Job Title

Jewish Family Services (JFS) is seeking an in-person licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent to provide mental health care for adults.

This role focuses mainly on one-on-one therapy, including assessing clients' needs, creating treatment plans, and helping clients work toward their goals using proven therapeutic approaches. The position may also include leading group sessions and offering community workshops or trainings to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and share practical tools for well-being.

The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, a commitment to ethical standards, cultural competency, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

This position offered is full-time at 40 hours per week, with a good deal of flexibility for the therapist to determine scheduling. 30 hours per week may also be considered.

Salary ranges between $60,000-$65,000 based upon experience.

Key

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide individual therapy to adult clients using evidence-based practices tailored to client needs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress toward therapeutic goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
• Maintain confidentiality to the highest degree in all personal and professional interactions and communications, in compliance with HIPAA regulations, the Social Work Code of Ethics (or other applicable professional codes), and JFS agency policy.
• Optionally facilitate group therapy sessions based on interest, expertise, and client needs.
• Optionally develop and deliver mental health trainings and community education programs to promote awareness, reduce stigma, and provide practical tools and resources for improving mental health and well-being.

Qualifications and skills:

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program or equivalent
• Current LCSW license in the state of Indiana (required) or equivalent billable licensure
• Experience providing therapy preferred
• Proficiency with technology
• Excellent engagement and interpersonal skills
• Proficient written and verbal communications
• Attention to detail, self-motivated, team player, organized, ability to multitask, resourceful, problem-solving skills
• Work positively in a team environment, with a flexible attitude towards job roles and responsibilities
• Demonstrates cultural competency through work with diverse client population
