Key Responsibilities for the Benefits Specialist:
  • Administer day-to-day employee benefits for approximately 1,500 employees.
  • Manage benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee benefit inquiries.
  • Coordinate FMLA and short- and long-term disability programs.
  • Support and administer 401(k) and retirement plan activities.
  • Maintain accurate benefits information and process transactions through ADP.
  • Work with employees, Payroll, benefit carriers, and vendors to resolve benefit-related issues.
Qualifications for the Benefits Specialist:
  • 3+ years of benefits administration experience.
  • Hands-on ADP experience required.
  • Experience with health and welfare benefits, FMLA/disability, and retirement benefits.
  • Experience managing benefits within a mid-size or large employee population preferred.
