We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Fabric Engineer to join our team on a three-month contract. This role will be critical in designing, implementing, and optimizing modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric data engineering, experience with Power BI, data vault models and background in the financial industry is also desired.

This position requires exceptional communication skills and an assertive, proactive approach to problem-solving. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable data solutions that support business intelligence and analytics needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures using Microsoft Fabric.

• Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with financial industry standards.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.

• Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions clearly to both technical and business audiences.

• Proactively identify and resolve technical and operational issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.

• Deep technical expertise with Microsoft Fabric, including hands-on implementation experience.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse teams.

• Assertive, proactive approach to problem-solving and driving project success.

• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with Data Vault 2.0 methodology.

• Strong Power BI skills, including dashboard design, data modeling, and performance optimization.

• Experience working in the financial services industry, with an understanding of compliance, security, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Fabric or Power BI certifications.

• Experience with Azure Data services such as Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, or Azure Databricks.

• Prior consulting or contract experience delivering enterprise-scale financial data projects.
