Overview
Seeking an EDI Expert to support and enhance a health insurance claims processing system. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of electronic claims as they are received from healthcare providers, processed through adjudication logic, and returned with appropriate response messages. The position partners closely with project management, developers, business analysts, and functional stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient claims processing operations.
RequiredQualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent IT experience)
- 5+ years of database experience
- 5+ years of experience working with EDI file formats (835, 837, 210)
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in healthcare industry environments
- Knowledge of IBM Web Sphere Transformation Extender (WTX)
- SQL and general database querying experience
