Senior Project Manager

Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and/or oversight of final project deliverables. Excellent communication skills required. In this position, you will collaborate with senior management, stakeholders and the team to meet business objectives and provide professional leadership & mentorship fostering respect and trust to inspire others to pursue excellence. A Day in the Life:
The essential functions of this role are as follows:

• Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion.
• Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans.
• Define users and project team member's roles and responsibilities on the project.
• Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals.
• Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to lower-level Project Managers including recommending training and experience.

Skills:

• Experience in IT Project Management
  - Required - 5 Years
• Prior experience working on dep large software projects as a Senior IT PM
  - Highly desired
• Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation
  - Required - 5 Years
• Experience with multiple methodologies including agile and waterfall
  - Required - 5 Years
• Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of SDLC to program/business folks who have little to no exposure to large software projects
  - Required
• Ability to work with technical team members, and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans and risk registers and overcome obstacles
  - Required
• Strong communication and presentation skills

• PMP Certified
