Job Title
Location:
Indianapolis, IN Duration: 6+ months
Responsibilities
- Perform end to end reimaging and operating system upgrades of LACE systems using standardized enterprise build procedures, supporting phased upgrade waves across multiple laboratory locations
- Develop and execute Windows Power Shell automation to standardize LACE builds, accelerate deployment, reduce manual effort, and enforce configuration consistency
- Integrate LACE systems into the enterprise environment by joining Active Directory domains, configuring network settings, establishing required network bridges
- Install, configure, and validate Waters Empower CDS on LACE systems, including system registration, database connectivity, and post reimage Empower system reassociation
- Enable and configure chromatography instruments (LC, GC, detectors, etc.) through LACE and integrate them with Empower for reliable instrument control and data acquisition
- Execute post build validation and readiness checks, provide technical documentation and status reporting, and collaborate with Global Laboratory IT, vendors, and local lab teams to meet delivery milestones
- Strong hands on experience with Windows OS deployment, reimaging, and upgrades
- Advanced Windows Power Shell scripting for system automation
- Demonstrated experience supporting Waters Empower CDS and LACE environments
- Solid understanding of chromatography instrument connectivity via LACE
- Strong networking fundamentals like IP Addressing, DNS, Network Bridging
- Ability to independently troubleshoot OS, network, Empower, and instrument issues
- Knowledge on ALM and Service Now
- Prior experience supporting global pharma environments
- Familiarity with GxP, CSV, and validation aware system builds
- Experience managing or supporting large LACE fleets (100+ systems)
- Exposure to instruments from Agilent, Thermo, Waters, or similar vendors
- Knowledge of Empower upgrades, system recreation, or multi site deployments
