IT Help Desk Technician

We're looking for an IT Help Desk Technician who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and making technology work. This is a full-time, in-office position based at our Northwest Indianapolis headquarters supporting approximately 300 employees across multiple business divisions throughout Indiana.
What You'll Do As the first line of IT support, you'll help keep our employees productive by providing exceptional technical support and resolving issues quickly and professionally. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support to employees via phone, email, remote support, and in person
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, printer, mobile device, and network issues
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, monitors, peripherals, and business software
- Setting up new employees with computers, accounts, and system access
- Managing user accounts, passwords, permissions, and Microsoft 365 support
- Escalating complex technical issues while maintaining communication with the end user
- Documenting support tickets, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
- Assisting with system upgrades, software deployments, and IT improvement projects
- Performing preventative maintenance and ensuring systems remain secure and up to date
- Educating employees on technology best practices and cybersecurity awareness
- Continuing to learn new technologies to improve our IT environment
What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people just as much as they enjoy technology. Qualifications include:
- Experience in an IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, and business software
- Familiarity with printers, networking, mobile devices, and user account management
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Outstanding customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to explain technical issues in a way anyone can understand
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow
