Job DescriptionCandidate will be a detailed planner, expert communicator, top-notch analyst, and have a deep understanding of business operations and IT systems. The person selected will be wholly committed to the discovery and development of cutting-edge innovative solutions. They will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and operational needs. Document requirements, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.
They will coordinate with departmental heads, executives, and other stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and improve operational effectiveness. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements. Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states. Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives. Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
Construct workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts. Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories. Work with IT and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals. Liaison between various business departments and group. Communicate findings, and recommendations, to project manager for updates to stakeholders and executives.
Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements. Assist with project management as needed.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related field. Business Analyst experience or in a related role. Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Strong experience leading, facilitating and motivating teams for medium to large scale IT projects. Strong understanding and experience working with stakeholders in achieving their goals. Strong background in facilitating/leading requirement gathering sessions. Demonstrated experience in the creation of User Stories.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), preferably in a Hybrid Agile environment. Advanced troubleshooting, critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, writing, and communication skills. Ability to develop productive working relationships, communicate clearly, and collaborate with people across the organization.
Ability to manage projects to successful conclusion. Ability to handle multiple tasks beyond the routine. High degree of independence, intuition, and initiative. Ability to maintain composure and control when things do not proceed as planned. Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) configuration, analysis, and troubleshooting of functional and basic technical components. Prior healthcare industry experience. Strong understanding of healthcare enterprise systems.
