Workday Reporting Lead

Role overview

We're looking for a Workday Reporting Lead to own the reporting workstream on an active client engagement. You'll partner directly with the project lead and wider team to design, build, and deliver Workday reports and analytics that give stakeholders clear, accurate, and timely visibility into their data. This is a fully remote role open to candidates based anywhere in the Americas.

Key responsibilities

Design and build custom Workday reports, including advanced, matrix, composite, and search reports.
Develop and maintain calculated fields to support complex reporting requirements.
Lead the reporting workstream, setting priorities and guiding delivery for the account.
Partner with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
Build and configure dashboards and worklets that surface the right data to the right audiences.
Support data validation and reconciliation so reports stay accurate and reliable.
Troubleshoot reporting issues and optimize existing reports for performance.
Document reporting specifications and provide knowledge transfer to client teams.

Required skills and experience

Proven experience as a Workday Reporting specialist or lead on live projects.
Strong command of Workday report writing across advanced, matrix, composite, and search report types.
Practical experience building and maintaining calculated fields.
Solid understanding of Workday security as it relates to report and data access.
Ability to work independently and lead a workstream in a fast moving delivery environment.
Clear communicator who can work with both technical and business stakeholders.
Active Workday Reporting certification.
