Analyze short- and long-term organizational goals, priorities, and operational needs to recommend business priorities and advise DFAS organizations on associated risks and strategic options.

Evaluate finance and accounting systems to determine if functional requirements are met, and develop "as-is" and "to-be" process maps to identify operational gaps and feasibility of new solutions.

Document clear business and capability-based requirements, and communicate them to development and operational teams to ensure compliance-related rules and system changes are successfully implemented.

Collaborate with individual DFAS organizations to define service costs, interpret operational priorities, and ensure comprehensive, cross-functional plans are aligned to address enterprise-wide impacts.

Manage the business line's requirements toolkit, repository (including business rules and system interfaces), and perform functional testing to validate and integrate solutions with Automated Information Systems (AIS).
