Lead Windows Sme
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Windows SME to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of extensive experience with Windows operating systems and a proven track record in systems administration, architecture, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the management and maintenance of Windows servers and workstations, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex Windows-related issues and provide expert-level technical support.
- Architect, design, and implement Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows services.
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy advanced Windows-based solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior and mid-level team members.
- Stay updated with the latest Windows updates, patches, and industry trends.
- Perform SSL Certificate management activities, Windows Firewall, PKI and Certificate Services, distribute wildcard certificates to individual or SAN certificates
- EFS with Bit Locker, Exploit Protection, Control Flow Guard (CFG), EFS with Bit Locker, Windows Firewall
- Manage the SSL Certificate management platform
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience working with Windows operating systems.
- Deep expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Advanced proficiency in Power Shell scripting and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) are highly desirable.
Skills:
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles and practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
