Kelly is proud to partner with a leading pharmaceutical company in their search for an innovative and detail-oriented Operational Materials Planner to join their Global Materials Planning team. This is your chance to play a key role in driving supply chain excellence and ensure that quality raw materials and consumables reach manufacturing sites across the globe.
Operational Materials PlannerLocation:
On-site in Indianapolis, IN Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
- Be a Trusted Liaison:
Bridge local API manufacturing sites and the centralized API Raw Material Hub. - Impact Global Operations:
Your work will help shape a robust, scalable global supply network enabling safe, reliable, and cost-effective production. - Collaborate Across Functions:
Work closely with experts from Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and more.
- Collect and validate standardized demand and materials data from manufacturing sites.
- Aggregate site inputs to create a cohesive network view for central planning.
- Serve as the main point of contact for both manufacturing sites and the Central Materials Planning function.
- Execute end-to-end materials purchasing activities, including order creation, vendor management, and invoice processing.
- Maintain critical master data and ensure SAP entries support seamless operations.
- Resolve day-to-day transactional and supplier issues efficiently, supporting high KPI performance.
- Contribute to data quality, streamlined workflows, and automation initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Internship or co-op experience in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing a plus.
Skills & Preferences:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Power BI; SAP experience a plus.
- Effective communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Interest in materials management or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
